I will be conducting a funeral later today for another one of my original RT-29s that gave it's all in the Brother Nature's never ending quest for cohos. No counting how many coho encounters this lure endured in it's long life. Hundreds, I'd say. You can see it's been repainted (probably more than once), resquiggled, as well. The belly hook has been replaced as was the tail hook that pulled out as the fish rolled in the landing net. Rest in Peace, my trusted lure. If every lure were as stalwart, it would be called catching, not fishing!

It looks like it has been dead for sometime and has returned as a zombie. Save it for a guest shot for a possible Walking Dead fishing show.

 You know Mike, since those are a very special bait and they have served you very well over time, they deserve a proper funeral.

Seems only proper that he should get buried with the next group of whats left over after you fillet your next group of coho.
