Nothing but wind in the forecast the next 6 days. Glad you guys got your fish early. I hope they'll come back in April.

According to fishweather.com, it's bad right now, diminishing this afternoon and will be nearly calm tomorrow. Easily fishable, I'd guess other than some swells, but little chop. Then Wednesday and Thursday pretty darned strong but from the south. South winds at this time of year are pesky, but won't make the lake unfishable.

I no longer (or seldom) trust the NWS marine forecast. The nearshore is slightly better. Fishweather.com and accuweather.com (plus my own instincts or experience) are my best sources.

In a nutshell...There's just a lot of wind from Wed on...gusts over 40mph, no thanks. And another big blow lining up for Friday night and Saturday

I was going to launch Friday, might just as well wait a week.

Has anybody used the ramp at Washington Park?

We used the south ramp Kirk. The north ramp has to much sand built up about 15' into the water...big sandhill awaiting.
South ramp was doable.

Check out the St. Joe camera if you get a chance before dark. Some nasty looking waves.
The miller beach camera shows the water is very stirred up. :pinch:

It is great to have the inland wall to hide behind, boxed our four man limit in short order today, typical spring baits ran nothing special.
