Went out again today looking to improve from yesterdays performance. Set down north east of the wreck in nice clean cold water 41 degrees. We were able to take one small King and 8 lakers with one throw back laker that bit while we were picking up lines. Biggest laker was 14lbs. Best rods were 10 color lead 200 copper and riggers at the bottom. Baits were spindoctors and full size fillies in any color pattern that had green in it.

I think I might have seen you out there in the distance. We went from Pastrick trolled to the gong (got one Coho just south of the gong) then went towards the wreck. We pulled up lines east of the wreck about 1:30 and saw one boat out near the wreck. We tried one Downrigger bouncing the bottom with a white dodger and Green big weenie fly and got nothing on it (first time trying for lakers). Went 1 for 1 all day but from the reports I was hearing on the radio was glad to have that one. Good job and thanks for the report.

I think you are correct I seen one other boat at the horizon to the south west of me. The only thing I could get them to bit on the riggers was on a grease trap with a small green spin and glow it took 3 fish. Most of the Lakers were suspended between 10 and 20 feet off the bottom water temp and the bottom was 40

Looks like the LAKERS saved the day. This may be the first of many more to come. Rudey
