I am assuming that both the cook and Michigan City bouys are working. If they are the water really flipped. Hardly any difference from top to bottom on either one.

Wish I could get the MC buoy. All I get is it's solar radiation read-out. Now if I could figure out how to run my boat on solar power, that would be interesting.

Thanks for providing the direct URL to the MC buoy. Last year all I had to do was click on the map that has all the buoy locations indicated by little yellow diamonds and the info would pop up. That was how I was getting only the solar radiation readings.

The Sea Grant buoys are tiny little things compared to the big sunny-beaches deployed by NOAH like the southern lake Michigan buoy. My experience with the NOAH buoys is they are usually off by 50% on wave heights. If they read 2 feet, count on the waves being 4 feet - trough to crest. Not so familiar with the MC or other small buoys. If they say 2 feet is that pretty close or do we need to allow a correction factor when looking at the wave heights?
