Had one straiten out on me maybe I need to go bigger but not too big wondering what everyone's favorite size is.

I like a #2 or a #3 stainless ball bearing coast lock swivel.The #2 has a 35 pound rating and has not failed me. I usually will have a hook or a split ring fail before the swivel. I think the #3 has near a 50 pound failure rating. The two are close in size also. I use the 3's on dipsy setups.
My Searunner 190, "Four "D's" and a "C". Retirement money well spent.

Only use Coastlock Style, size depends on the location of the swivel. I usually use a smaller swivel at the terminal end next to the bait and a size bigger everywhere else, not sure of numbers as some companies number different it seems, might be 2 and 3's.
