I looked up the trolling depth on these. It only says 10'. Question is how far back do they figure 10' running depth? And can you change the depth much by running them further away from the boat? Also how does lead core effect depth on these? If I run 3 colors will my bait be running 22'?
TIA Keith

So normally I would say refer to precision trolling but they don't have thin fish on there. Normally I've noticed 100' is your lucky number to match design diving depth at trolling speeds not 100% accurate but it will get you close. Core, copper, keel weights ect. should put you about 5' diving with your thin fish plus whatever your lead core is sinking. I've read that weighted line, or inline weights can enhance the diving power of your lure by 25% but that really depends how long of a leader you are running. 20' or greater on leader length I would factor that extra 25% of diving in the equation.
