Does anyone know of a reel repair facility that will work on the older Daiwa trolling reels? One of my 47H reels has a stripped out level wind worm shaft and probably a few other related parts. Tuna’s reel trouble won’t work on them because of Daiwa not making parts anymore. I sure hate to pitch a really nice reel because of it.
I would even be interested in a reel that may not work right but then level wind still tracks right. Thanks for any information.
My Searunner 190, "Four "D's" and a "C". Retirement money well spent.
I do have 3 Diawa 47C's. Two appear to have never been used, and the third used, but well functional. If you like this model reel, I am willing to part with them. Shoot me a offer. Also there is sticker on one stating anodized aluminum frame and side plates. Pretty robust design.

I had 47H and 47SH upgraded drags by Daves Reel Repair in 2019. Dont know his status now.
