Alright, after getting my teeth kicked in during the port v port tournament and fighting my 20yr old styrofoam Yellow Birds for half the morning, it's time to update my boards.

Lots of options out there these days and everyone on YouTube is a critic.  Looking to grab at least 4 fresh boards, possibly 6 if bigger sizes are needed for 10 color in rougher waters.  What are you using, and why do you like them?  Or not like them?

I thought I even saw in older posts thay FISH ON may have had his own boards that looked nice, but could have misread.

Ninja boards are superior in pulling long lines. They pull heavy lines the best, work well with braid and have a one button to push to put on or take off with 1 hand.

When fishing shallow with no lead or 1 - 3 colors any board will work.

I second the Ninja boards. We used the Church Walleye boards for years but recently went all Ninjas. They pull any size lead core or copper and the one hand release mechanism makes removal easy while fighting a fish.  A little pricey but the best on the market in our opinion.  In the spring we use the smaller  Big Jon Side-Liner planer boards when pulling flatlines.  We set these to release using a speed bead a few feet in front of the lure to keep the board from hitting the fish.

That's three for Ninja's, I'll probably order a pair up this week.

Thanks for the suggestion!
