Thinking about doing some drifting and casting some Mepps in the AM after work, hopefully hit the creek around 530 or so. Anyone been fishing these or know anyone who has been doing any well? Going to try salt creek @ old porter and maybe the dam

I was up the west branch and seen fish nose up to every discharge and ditch that dumped into there past the willow creek outlet. They weren't biting on spoons, they seemed more into relief of cool water.

Been fishing the creeks for past 3 weeks, pretty slim pickins. Most of the fish have made their way to the upper stretches, and as Kingme mentioned huddling anywhere they find cooler water as the creeks are running abnormally warm for this time of year. Hopefully that will change come last week of Sept. But this year's run not looking promising to say the least, hope your findings are more positive.

Yep fished that last week, nada. Fish are even higher near US 30. The fish that are in the system currently are soo spread out and no real numbers it's hard to find an active pod. If you do stumble on a lively pod enjoy cause they're on the move real fast.
