Anybody ever have any luck off the peirs for perch, from Portage to St Joe? I remember catching some with my dad years and years ago. We dont get on them like we used to so didnt know if there was much action nowadays?

I used to at Montrose Harbor 10 yrs ago or so. Haven't been there in awhile but I am still sure you can.

Some can be had off the pier but it isn’t what it once was.  The Gobies will likely get pretty frustrating pretty quickly.

I have a buddy who fishes the St Joe peir when the perch start does quite well was think of trying it myself this year

Please advise when you hear of any coming in. I am wanting to get my boy out as the pier is easier than getting our boat in on the big lake. Thanks.
