For you guys that use them what temp do u look to keep your riggers in. I just started to run my fish hawk this year and found it very useful for speed but still trying to figure out the best temp just looking to keep baits in the most productive area of water. When I find a good temp break I find myself moving riggers up and down between 53 degrees and 49 degrees bc I don't know where the best place to be is. What are your thoughts.

50 to 55 is what I look for on my fish hawk. But not always true. Had mine down 40 ft last weekend.In 60 fow and there was bait present. Reading 64 degrees. And catching fish. It's always a gamble. Also looking for the temp break is key or just above the break. .

Probes are nice to look for the water setup and speed the lures are at the ball or currents that affect the action of the lure. Besides temp, bait trumps everything. Find food you find fish, then you can tweak your presentation with the probe. I caught many fish that were out of temp but the bait was there and they had to feed. I know many that swear by ball speed but that changes also from day to day. Mike
