I will be taking Bryan Poynter, the chairman of the Indiana Natural Resources Commission fishing for King Salmon in September. (The commission has lots of duties and influence. They set fish and wildlife "rules" such as how many rods you can run, what firearms are legal to use for frog hunting and lots of other stuff.) I hope Poynter catches a 30 pounder and I can then try to explain to him why Indiana won't be offering the chance for him or his kids to catch one in the future since kings have been dropped from the stocking scheme.

I caught more kings in IN last year than I did on my annual trip to Ludington in 2015. More power to L-Town, I love it, I love the fishing culture up there, great facilities, but as the lyrics of the song goes, "All their tomorrows are yesterday."
