In my posts about multi-state licenses and money from salmon/trout stamps a terrible thought popped into my head.

Fact: The USFWS owns the Great Lakes Lake Trout program.

Fact: Since nothing the government does is cheap or cost effective, those 3 million lakers they stuff into Lake Michigan each year (not to mention the programs for the other four lakes) has to cost more than Bill and Hillary make off the Clinton Foundation each year.

Fact: When ducks got "bad" the government didn't bail them out, Hunters did by purchasing Duck Stamps - basically a duck hunter only tax.

Fact: Neither of the ruling parties seems averse to raising taxes, what's to stop the USFWS from requiring a Federal Trout Stamp required for anyone fishing the Great Lakes to offset the money spent on laker rehabilitation and associated projects?
