I would like to buy 2 copper rods but am having a hard time finding them in NWI. Bps, Cabelas, no go and I called another place 4 times and sent a web request with no response.

I would say you could use copper on any rod - dont really think there are any special requirements other than wanting somewhat of a stiffer rod. Go talk to Slez - he will order what you need and get you set up.

I seen some trolling rods at Calumet marine last time I was in there. I like the Okuma wire rods because the eyes are large enough to pass a #2 coastlock through all the eyes. Rod and reel stores easily with no exposed line to tangle up.
My Searunner 190, "Four "D's" and a "C". Retirement money well spent.
