Thinking about trying spoonbill snagging in Missouri or on the Mississippi River in Illinois, anyone ever try this,? Probably going within the next 2 wks. If anyone have any knowledge I would appreciate it.

Dumped the boat in at the launch in Bellevue Iowa sat a.m. very windy, dragged hooks all morning, bumped a few fish with no hook ups, ended up getting one fish that wasn't the target species, better luck next time
