Can anyone give info on whiting park launch? I see a launch there using Google Earth, just wondered about it?  AKA whihala.
I have a small boat, I think I remember hearing it was shallow going out there, so that wouldn't be a problem. Was just curious about it, as early season approaches and that area usually fishes well.

Went to launch Whiting on 3-5-2022 and was unable to. Not only was there ice but the water level inside the launch was unbelievable low. Sand bars visible inside the little launch area. Never seen it this bad. We went to Hammond.
Also launch fees at Whiting are expensive. You get the sticker from the parking ticket box. You can get a season pass from the Whiting Town Hall but I think this year is around $75.00.
