Last night 75,000 kings got stocked at East Chicago Marina. That's right last night! If you can't net pen, then stocking at night may help beat some of the bird predation.

That is what you call being proactive.

Great work being done by our hatchery folks and Ben Dickenson working together.

I was hoping the pictures of the brown trout stocking and the seagulls feasting on them would result in something positive.    Much thanks to Ben and the hatchery personnel for making the extra effort to give the little kings a better chance at survival.
