I'm convinced they couldn't forecast themselves out of a wet paper bag anymore. They were way off yesterday, and today surprisingly accurate, only off by a few hours.

I'd say if it's like today, it's a roll of the dice.  We stuck close to shore since we had the whole family on the boat, got one in 38' of water northeast of the ditch, but it sounded like if you weren't at the state line getting beat up it was a rough go of things, but there are still some silver fish hanging shallow.

Was going to go out of Waukegan but that is a clear no for me. Not sure portage is actually going to be rough or not haha

Offshore the last couple days has been nicer than inshore from the guys at the docks in portage who went out. The temp differences from land to water this time of year really play havoc on near shore winds and waves.
