Got a new Alumacraft that the wife thought was pretty so I won all the way around!! Nothing during the winter since it goes into storage (no garage) but hoping Santa brings me an onboard marine radio setup. I have a hand held but that really does not cut it now that I found how far I like to venture out.

Starting tearing into the floors this weekend. Sanding the old carpet glue off the wood is a messy job. The wood is solid and in great shape.

Sanded the heck out of the floor. Then I filled all of the imperfections and screw holes. Then I sanded the heck out of them some more. I ordered some marine plywood so I can make new center pieces. The carpet is thicker than the vinyl so if I use the existing center pieces there will likely be a large gap. Almost ready to start gluing the vinyl down.

Made a little progress today. Used paper for a template and cut out some vinyl puzzle pieces. Hopefully tomorrow I will get them glued down.
