I have been watching vids on YouTube about the Sable and the Wolverine. I was wondering if anyone has seen the recovery of any of the 130ish WWII era naval aircraft? Very interesting stuff. Looked a lot of the carrier activity was north of the ditch in probably Michigan water. There is a dedicated museum somewhere in Michigan that looks like it might be worth checking out also.

Muskegon has a sub museum I believe? Manitowoc WI has sub you can can have dinner on the deck certain days of the summer. Even reserve bunk to sleep in I think. Read that numerous WW II subs built in Manitowoc. pretty neat stuff.
