walldady Topic Author Away Premium Member Posts: 145 Thank you received: 76	UNFORTUNATELY I have to park my boat outside . Today I noticed ice , build up , in the motor splash well . My ? is , can I put Ice Melt materials there to prevent / thaw ice build up ?  I dont want the ice build up to damage the Aluminum decking .  Will the ice melt create an Aluminum corrosion issue ? Thanks  Walldady
