This years Port to Port Challenge is quickly approaching on Saturday, June 10th. For those who are not familiar from last year, it is a Portage vs. Michigan City Tournament. There will be one Portage team vs. one Michigan City team. Each team will be composed of many boats. At the end of the day, all boats will combine their fish and select the largest two from each species that will be weighed. The total combined weight of Portage vs. Michigan City (8 fish each team) will determine the winner. I will be the Portage Port Captain.
Contact me if you wish to be on Team Portage. Everyone is welcome to participate. Its a great way to work with anglers of all abilties. Contact information for myself as well as Bruce Brown (Michigan City Captain) are in the ruleset which I will link below. All boats from the winning team will receive a trophy of sorts. Last year was a custom Yeti Tumbler. The weigh will be in Michigan City. You are not required to attend the weigh in, however there will be a huge free cookout so its a great time network / meet people.
Last year Michigan City took the win. Time for team Portage to step up!
