Fished again out of Port Huron from Wednesday afternoon thru Friday afternoon. This trip had a 3rd fisherman so able to fish 6 rods total. Brought the down riggers and most hits on therm were from 18-24' down 25-35' behind the ball. Used perfect 10's or any large shallow floaters on riggers. Also used offshore planers for other 4 rods. Same program as September 30 post with deep bandit cranks off boards any where from 60-110' behind 1-3 oz. snap weights Blue chrome was the hottest color of the trip on the bandits. This trip had a slip at the Huron boat basin which is about 100 yards from the Comfort Inn- well worth the 15.00 a night charge-very convenient. 18 fish walleye limits each day with most fish going in the 18-22" range. Much smaller fish than the last trip, but I''ll take an 18" walleye any day. First 2 fish of the trip Wednesday were 25" and the largest over 3 days. Planning another trip tentatively the week after Thanksgiving, unless the ice starts to form-fish on. Nick.

Thanks for the report Nick. We should be getting out there soon. How deep of water were you fishing?

Wednesday and Friday we fished 44' of water north of Cranberry Creek. Thursday morning we fished 36-38' of water in the a.m. due to the high winds, but were able to pick away at them. Thursday after the winds settled a bit, we were able to fish the same water depth as wed. and friday. It seemed as soon as you got to 44' mark, the larger marks started to show up. Best speed for us was 2.5 s.o.g.
