I was in Florida last week for the ICAST show so naturally had to slip over to the seashore to wet some lines. My fun fish for the day was five foot shark (I think it's a lemon shark) and my work fish for the morning was a 100 pound tarpon. Had the tarpon on for a half hour on 40# spinning gear. I was happy when it wore the leader through and it went free. It was kicking my butt! Caught a couple of edible small fries so my wife and I headed for a local "cook the catch" restaurant to cool off and heal up.
