We are getting in the game here. First day two trout, two cohos, next day we did a bit better - tough going both days with periods of 3 to 4 footers to deal with. Today was flat, we moved deeper and did poorly so we picked a course and headed towards Gary Light, only 75 miles, the GPS said. Pick up a steelhead and a laker, then about 11:30, flat calm no clouds, we actually found a pod of fish and ended up with 8 fish - everything but a brown. Tomorrow, we'll start there and see if that spot still works. Should be better, we hope in early morning.
BTW - other than the $22 launch fee, the boat launch is five star, in my book. Very very nice.

No, it's right on the lakefront, just south of the river outlet, I think. Has one of those self serve stations near the top of the ramps.

Didn't do so hot today. Our yesterday spot was yesterday's news. Managed to hook and boat some lakers, steel and coho and truthfully, any day with sunny calm seas, good friends and no ankle flies is a nice day. The fish are the bonus. Maybe we'll bring it all together tomorrow in a final flurry!
