We made our annual trip this year to fish the king run in Milwaukee, after skipping the last couple due to COVID (my dad and brothers travel from Minnesota).  We marked fish all over just outside of the harbor, in the harbor, and up the KK River.  It was tough to get a bite.  We started Friday trolling between the main gap and the river mouth with a mixed bag of spoons and crankbaits finally picking up our first fish and loosing a second at the net a couple minutes apart.  Both came on spoons (one rigger, one diver on a board) down near the bottom in 32 FOW.  We trolled back into the KK River and picked up 2 nice kings in the afternoon again both on spoons so we switched everything over to spoons.  My brother in law finally got his first ever salmon and it was a really nice 27 pounder.  We lost another nice one that threw the hook on a surface roll.  We ended up going 4 for 8 (3 for 6 between 4 and 8).  We thought we had a pattern going and was excited for Saturday, but we couldn't buy a bite.  Went 0 for 0 all day Saturday.  Only saw a couple caught.  Heard they were doing well on steelhead out in 200+, but we didn't want to take our small boats out 9 or more miles.  We didn't catch as many as we hoped, but all in all still a really fun trip.
