Nice Noah. I know the sheepshead are out, just have not found the time. My dad used to pick buttons. I should have paid a little more attention. Just a little afraid to pick something that I am not sure of. I need to find a seasoned mushroom hunter to show me the way!!! Steve

Outside of sheeps head and chicken of the woods idk any other kind. I keep looking at YouTube videos for honey mushrooms but I just don't trust eating a mushroom idk unless someone specifically shows me that's what they r. I have come accross a lot of what I think r honeys

Nice mushroom find Noah! I went out Saturday walking the dogs and found one tree with 3 hen of the woods growing on it that I promptly picked and seen clusters of other kinds of mushrooms but I didn't know what they were so I left them. They looked similar to Noah's pic of what he thinks are honey mushrooms.

Hey Ed. You can have them last for 2 years. After you clean & prep, put them in a sandwich size ziplock bags. Wrap in newspaper & freeze. They do not freezer burn.
