Portage public is the best to use then just motor across the ditch. Marina shores ( tournament hq) does not have ramps.

Just got done putting together 10 kick ass prize packages to win at the weigh in :)

Also just a note - if you have the ability, please print and fill out the registration form prior to saturday mornings registration. This will help move things along quickly. If you dont have the ability to fill out the form, I will have plenty available.

If anyone needs a good net man or has someone backout shoot me a pm and would like to join in.

I also have a slip at Portage with no boat in that can be used if needed.

It’s getting so close you can almost feel the tension build. No not really, this is going to be a good time event. No pressure. I bet it will be busy and crowded some but there should be fish everywhere. Everyone needs to give each other room and try to fall in the trolling loops rather gracefully if possible. Don’t be afraid to try a less crowded area either. Remember limits are fine but it only takes 9 when you get in line.
I myself am ready to go and the boat is packed up and ready to hook up.

The weather is holding up wonderfully and it looks to be a perfect day. The tournament is officially a GO for Saturday! Here is some information and clarification:

1) Register the morning of the tournament. I would suggest launching your boat early, as the portage ramp will likely be very busy.
2) There is no launch at Marina Shores. You will need to Launch at Portage Public Marina and drive across Burns Ditch.
3) For registration, park in any slip that is open.
4) Registration is technically 6:30 to 7:30. We will be there by 6:15 to start taking registrations.
5) Captains meeting is at 7:30. It will be brief to go over the rules.
6) For the weigh in, you may pull out your boat at portage marina, and drive over to marina shores and park in the lot, or you can drive the boat over and park in any open slip on the Transient or A dock. See image below.
7) If there are any questions at all, please feel free to call me at (219) 682-5575.

I just picked up my boat today after some extensive repair work and got it in the slip late this afternoon. Haven’t had a chance to run it yet so I will be missing the tournament unfortunately.

Good luck to everyone tomorrow!
