What a great site, i have made the plunge to get into Salmon fishing after many years of fishing the great lakes for walleye. I went to Captain Dan Keating's salmon class back in January and met some really great people, I look forward to seeing and meeting other salmon guys over the course of the next year. thanks for all the input and time put into this site.

I'm out near Elgin IL. I fish Superior a few times a year out of ashland and superior WI, Lake erie a couple times a year and then the UP little bay de noc  / and also green bay. I want to try some coho in a few weeks down near Michigan City, and then work the west side north throughout the year.

Welcome aboard, great group of guys here- I started salmon fishing a few years ago and really enjoy it. Everyone here really helped me out getting started, and still do.
Coho are going real good down here now, btw
I fish Erie too, I never been to Green Bay yet, how would you compare the two?

The size and volume of fish on green bay doesn't compare to Erie, i usually only fish green bay in may and June and there are a lot of good eating fish 15- 23" available. both have there difficulties at times like anything other body. I prefer green bay as its a shorter ride. I will tell you this the walleyes in superior fight like salmon, a 20" walleye fights like you wouldn't believe it.
