Day one at Northpoint was a success. Quite different from the last couple years when the cohos were 10 12 miles offshore at this time. They are right on the beach, say 20 to 30 feet of water. Every fish had one alewife in it. Caught one king and one steelhead to top off the box. All dodgers and flies.

We did very well yesterday considering we were fishing in conditions I'd never take a customer out in. One way troll ( due to waves) hot number was 14 feet of water just off the beaches. Every fish crammed with alewives.
