Decided to take my middle son out after work Monday. Set lines in 70’ about 1.5 SSE of the three corners and trolled North. Two nice Coho in the first fifteen minutes had us all fired up and then things went quiet. We roamed around between 70’-80’ and as the sun just started to touch the horizon things went CRAZY! We had multiple doubles, a couple of triples, and lots of hit-and-gone action. Ended up 7 for 15. They were preferring green and yellow in spoons, jointed Rapala, and 2” fly 35-45 feet down. Kept trolling back and forth until things shut down at dark. Didn’t get home until 11:30 and had a filleting lesson in the dark. No fingers lost. Great evening with my boy!
