Fished north off Grand Mere from about 7:30 to 12:30. Started in 75 fow and ended in 220 fow. 9 for 10 all lake trout. Caught fish from 50’ down to 85’ down. Mostly on F/F’s.

Where you mainly targeting lakers or that is all that hooked up?

That’s all I hooked up BigEDV. I don’t ever target lakers, seem to catch them enough when targeting the other species. The one we missed was a pretty big rip on a dipsey about 8:30 that came off after about a minute. That could have been something silver but never got to find out.

I had one the last time i was out (a few weeks ago) that i thought was going to spool the reel - not sure if he was on for more than a minute but the way it was ripping line, had to be a King.

More greasers! Thanks for the report. Funny I spoke to my dad on the phone the other day about how I didn't want to burn a bunch of $$ in fuel for lakers. He then proceeded to tell me people travel a long ways for lakers. I said good point I guess I'm spoiled with silver lol!
