TOPIC:

Saturday we set up in 85fow and worked north out to 125fow before making a turn. We picked away at some lake trout on the way out while fishing for salmon. We focused strictly on salmon for the first few hours, but we weren't lucky enough to hook one. We did end up catching a couple decent trout to weigh for our club tournament, unfortunately they weren't enough to place us well. We ran a 6 rod spread and took our trout from 60ft to the bottom with spoons taking our biggest trout. We had a good day on the water despite the less than ideal waves and lack of kings!
